Prof. Edy Yuwono, PhD Guru Besar baru UNSOED

Selamat Pak PROFESSOR ! Selamat berkarya sebagai GURU BESAR !

Beasiswa BIDIK MISI 2010 DIKTI

nagao

Founded in 1989, the Nagao Natural Environment Foundation (NEF) is a non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting nature conservation in developing countries. Since its establishment, the Research Grant Scheme has supported researchers from research institutions mainly in the Asia-Pacific region. A total of 234 research projects in 22 countries have been awarded grants during this period (as of 1 June 2007). Meanwhile, the Scholarship Scheme has given support to a total of 2,051 students in eight countries in Asia (as of 1 June 2007).

In September 2007, the NEF reviewed its schemes in order to contribute to nature conservation more effectively. In addition to the original Research Grant and Scholarship Schemes, we extended our support to include the intensive production of scientific work and filed activities under a new scheme called the ‘Comprehensive Programme for Conservation Research and Activities.’

Peluang Riset : Human Resource Development Program in Biotechnology 2010

The National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC) invites research scientists from selected developing countries in East Asia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific to participate in the Human Resource Development Program in Biotechnology for year 2010. The Program aims to build up R&D capability for developing countries as well as fostering research network among countries in this region. The Program places importance on improving research skill, thus it is designed to be an on-the-job and research-based training in BIOTEC’s laboratories. Two types of training will be on offer: fundamental courses (3 months) and advanced courses (6 months).  The training course consists of classroom session, designing and conducting a mini research project and site visit to factories or project sites. A total of 12 scholarships will be provided.
