BioOne is a XML-based aggregation of essential bioscience research journals. BioOne is a not-for-profit organization founded by a partnership of SPARC, the American Institute of Biological Sciences, the Greater Western Library Alliance, the University of Kansas, and Allen Press. For students and researchers, BioOne is a robust, easy-to-use platform with critical bioscience content.

BioOne now includes 143 publications from 102 publishers across three collections. All journals include at least two years of backfile, with many available back to 2000. At present, 66% of BioOne titles are ISI-ranked, and 40% are available in electronic format exclusively on BioOne.
